	S.W.A.P. is a name you hear a lot these days in the trance community. An upcoming Trance dj from the midlands who has played at nearly all the major clubs round the UK which includes places such as; Passion, Digital Society, Off the Rails, Amplified, to name a few. SWAP, real name Swapnil Garg. Bought his pair of 1210s while at uni on his 21st birthday, but only got the chance to use them after he graduated 2 years later. While at uni, SWAP decided to open up a group called Swap Shop on a social networking site, this group allowed him to add his mixes for people to download, feedback was so good that the group become one of the biggest trance groups on the site and SWAP got a legendary status. His seamless mixing and flawless tunes selection catapulted him into the spotlight which got him his first major break at Passion, after only 1 years practice. This was a very big event in his calendar as it headlined world no.1 dj Armin Van burren. The gig was such a success for SWAP that his popularity grew tremendously, which led to Passion re booking him for future gigs. And now is part of the NuPassion djs, which has given him the opportunity to dj in the main room twice.

	S.W.A.P. has been on lineups alongside the best in Trance; Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Aly & Fila, Matt Hardwick, Gareth Emery, John Askew, John O' Callaghan, Solarstone, Greg Downey, Marco V, Sied Van Reil and many more. After only djin for 2 and half years, SWAP has come a long way very quickly. He is one of the few DJ's that has the ability to float from one genre to another and not pigeon hole himself; can play at anytime of the night and in any room. SWAP developed a taste for tougher electronic dance music from a young age. This is reflected in his style which combines underground and uplifting trance with elements of techno. S.W.A.P.’s style would be best described as a cross between Jon o’Bir, John Askew and Fred Baker, as he loves both the melodic and the tech sides of trance.

	SWAPcast is a podcast devised by S.W.A.P.; started a year ago, it has grown tremendiously and is also aired on Slinky.fm. It is on i-tunes and has a FACEBOOK group that is close to 1000 members. It has featured world class djs such as Jon O’ Bir, Manuel le Saux, Genix, Ben Gold and many more. Its latest episode will feature a guest mix from the massive Egyptian trance duo – Aly & Fila. Future episodes include mixes from the best in upcoming and main stream trance and tech trance djs…. such as Sean tyas, Simon Patterson and many more. S.W.A.P. also has his own radio show - Spinning With A Passion - on the famous internet trance radio station – Afterhours.fm. Coming close to its 7th episode, it has allowed S.W.A.P. to get an international crowd, with atleast 900 to 1000 listeners to each show. Having Established a strong following through SWAPcast, his Afterhours.fm radio show and slinky.fm radio show ........ S.W.A.P. is definitely a name to look out for in 2009 and beyond.
